No entanto, no segundo tempo se posicionou perfeitamente para receber os passes de Giuliano e Renato Augusto e marcar duas vezes.

-Não vejo grandes diferenças no posicionamento dele do primeiro para o segundo tempo. Ele atuou na mesma função. O jogo se desenhou dessa forma, um adversário que gastou muita energia marcando no primeiro tempo. Fizeram muito bem, neutralizaram. Não conseguimos que a bola chegasse com frequência no último terço. Com o passar do jogamos, melhoramos nesse aspecto. Os espaços foram aparecendo e ele (Roger) foi muito feliz nas definições. Muita qualidade – comentou o técnico interino Fernando Lázaro sobre o posicionamento de Róger Guedes em entreivsta coletiva após a vitória contra o São Bernardo.

Com os dois gols marcados diante do Bernô, Róger Guedes chegou a nove com a camisa do Corinthians. Entre os jogadores do ‘quintento fantástico’ ele é o que mais vezes foi às redes. Além disso, com os tentos deste meio de semana o camisa 9 também assumiu a artilharia corintiana neste início de temporada, ao lado de Fábio Santos e Paulinho, que também já têm dois gols marcados em 2022.

The trio, along with a non-coaching member of the team management, will undergo self-isolation and will subsequently be unavailable for the three-match T20I series, which begins in Karachi on Monday.The touring squad landed in Karachi in a commercial flight from the Caribbean via Dubai, and have been confined to their rooms since then. But on Sunday, the Brazilian started in a wide midfield position – not overly common for him – and battled hard with what was described as a “monumental” display from a “superstar” player by Toon reporter Andy Sixsmith.

He won six of his ten ground duels, alongside four of his six aerial duels, allowing Newcastle to win the ball back in dangerous areas and launch attacks quickly.

His three tackles, one interception and one clearance all came from playing in a more advanced wide role, showing his ability to do a job wherever he’s put, on both sides of the ball.

عاد الحديث من جديد عن إمكانية انضمام مصطفى محمد إلى الأهلي بنهاية الموسم الحالي رغم عدم انتهاء عقده مع نانت إلا في يونيو 2027.

ويلعب مصطفى محمد مع نانت منذ عام 2022 بعد الانتقال إليه على سبيل الإعارة من جالطة سراي، قبل شراء النادي الفرنسي لعقده في يونيو 2023.

في الموسم الحالي كانت البداية سيئة بالنسبة لمهاجم منتخب مصر، خاصة وأن مدربه في نانت أنطوان كومباريه لم يكن يعتمد عليه إلا كبديل.

ولكن مع بداية عام 2025، أصبح وجود مصطفى محمد في المباريات وبصمته واضحة ووصل إلى 5 أهداف في 25 مباراة بإجمالي 962 دقيقة ببطولتي الدوري الفرنسي وكأس فرنسا.

Injuries to Ravindra Jadeja, Shubman Gill and Axar Patel have forced the Indian selectors to deal with some big questions ahead of the upcoming Test and ODI tour of South Africa. ESPNcricinfo has learnt that all the three players are likely to miss the entire tour.Jadeja, India’s first-choice spinner outside the subcontinent of late, was ruled out of the second Test against New Zealand in Mumbai because of what the BCCI had said was swollen right forearm. Though Jadeja was present in Mumbai with the team, it is understood that he could be out of action for a long period.If Jadeja does miss the South Africa tour, as is likely, it will be his second injury-enforced layoff this year. He had broken his left thumb during the Test series in Australia in January and had to miss the final Test in Brisbane as well as the entire home series against England.As for Gill, he was ruled out of India’s Test series in England in the summer after suffering a stress injury to one of his shins. Gill, who played the two Tests against New Zealand at home recently, sat out a few sessions of play in the second Test after first getting hit in the arm and then the finger.With question marks over Ajinkya Rahane’s future in the Indian middle order, Gill has been spoken of in some circles as a potential alternative.If he can’t make the cut for South Africa, it could open things up for the likes of Shreyas Iyer, who has just made a big start to his Test career, or Hanuma Vihari, who is currently on tour in South Africa with India A. Suryakumar Yadav, who was added to the India Test squad for the games against New Zealand but couldn’t get a look-in, could also get lucky in case Gill isn’t available.The exact nature of Axar’s problem could not be ascertained, though unconfirmed reports suggest it is a stress-related injury.Axar is India’s third-choice spinner behind R Ashwin and Jadeja, and if he can’t make it, and Jadeja isn’t fit either, Jayant Yadav, Shahbaz Nadeem or Saurabh Kumar could be in the mix.Nadeem, who played the last of his two Tests in Chennai against England in February this year, has not been on the selectors’ radar since, while Jayant was the preferred third spinner against New Zealand, and put in a strong performance in the second Test, when he picked up 4 for 49 in the second innings. Nadeem, however, could be in favour since he is a left-arm spinner, like Jadeja and Axar.Saurabh is the wildcard in the race. The big signing of the summer was Max Kilman, signing from Wolves for a fee of around £40m. The 27-year-old played under Lopetegui at Molineux and has been ever-present in the side this season, making 13 appearances, providing one assist, and contributing to three clean sheets in his 1,170 minutes on the field.

The Hammers also acquired Carlos Soler and Jean-Clair Todibo on loan deals, but perhaps the most exciting deal for fans this summer was the addition of last season’s Championship Player of the Year, who they thought could bring real flair and creation to their attacking ranks.

Crysencio Summerville at West Ham

The 23-year-old Crysencio Summerville joined from Leeds in the summer, having just scored 21 goals and provided ten assists in 49 games last season. This saw him crowned the very best player in the division as Leeds narrowly missing out on promotion, losing the play-off final 1-0.

But Summerville has struggled to find his way into the West Ham side on a regular basis, making 12 appearances, but only totalling 507 minutes, just managing one goal.

The Dutch winger has only started three of the 11 Premier League games, coming from the bench on seven occasions.

So, West Ham look to replace Summerville already, as they look to improve the squad and add more creation in attacking areas. With a slow start from Mohammed Kudus too – scoring just twice and being sent off – adding more goal output is necessary.

According to reports in Spain (via Football365), West Ham are interested in bringing AC Milan attacker, Christian Pulisic, back to the Premier League having left Chelsea to join AC Milan in 2023.

Paulo Fonseca has praised Pulisic’s performances this season, labelling the USA international as “fantastic”, following his red-hot start to the season, scoring seven goals and providing five assists in 15 appearances, totalling 1,169 minutes.

The 26-year-old winger has, of course, played in England already, making 145 appearances for Chelsea, scoring 26 goals and providing 19 assists.

His best season for the Blues came under Frank Lampard, netting nine Premier League goals in 25 games during the 2019/20 season. In the words of NBC commentator, Arlo White, he was “borderline unplayable” at times.

But, in the present, how does he compare to Summerville? Well, you can see from the metrics below that the American is heavily outperforming the Hammers’ summer signing so far this season.

Not only does the former Chelsea ace have a better goal and assist rate, but he’s significantly better in one-on-one situations, notably delivering a far higher rate of progressive carries, getting his team up the field in a more efficient manner. He’s certainly more creative too with those key passes and progressive passes standing out.

Thus, if the Hammers could pull off a move for the USA superstar, it could help propel them up the table, and release the burden from the likes of Jarrod Bowen for output.
