Who will be leading Celtic’s attack next season?

That’s surely a question on every Hoops fans’ mind right now, as both Oliver Burke and Timothy Weah are set to move back to their parent clubs in the summer. So, as both key strikers move away, the Bhoys need to sign a few more top strikers to keep on flooding in goals for them.

They need a striker who can suit their incisive style pretty well and has fluid finishing to help them compete on all fronts. Someone like Moussa Dembele. Not a particularly helpful suggestion, granted, but the Frenchman was the exact type of striker to do that.

So, with all that in mind, here are two such options.

Dominic Solanke

He might’ve recently completed a move to AFC Bournemouth, but Solanke’s struggling to get ahead of Callum Wilson in the lineup.

Still quite raw to cut it at the Premier League, Celtic could capitalize on the situation by getting him on loan and developing him, as they did with Dembele of course.

Despite not scoring much lately, Solanke’s known to be a clever striker capable of making incisive movement into the box. The 21-year-old’s finishing is also solid, making him big enough to thrive at the Scottish Premiership and be the goal-scoring lynchpin for the Hoops.

Jordan Rhodes

Despite starting the season brightly with Norwich City, Rhodes has quickly fallen out of favour at Daniel Farke’s side as the German implements a style of play not at all suited to the Scotland international.

He last started a game in October and doesn’t seem to be in their plans for potential promotion to the Premier League. With that in mind, Celtic should eye a quality striker here, who’s proven his goal-scoring potential in recent years. Rhodes scored six goals for the Canaries this campaign, displaying predatorial instincts in the box and scoring clever goals.

Indeed, he could be the solution to their striking issues and light up Parkhead with his clinical goal-scoring capabilities.

واستمعت اللجنة لما نسب إلى مرتضى منصور من وقائع تضمنتها الشكاوى المقدمة من رئيس الاتحاد المصرى لكرة القدم، ورئيس لجنة الحكام بالاتحاد المصرى لكرة القدم، ورئيس الاتحاد المصرى لكرة اليد، ورئيس مجلس إدارة النادى الأهلي، ونائب رئيس مجلس إدارة نادي الزمالك، وعضو مجلس إدارة نادي الزمالك، والرئيس الأسبق لنادي الزمالك.

حضر جلسة التحقيق الأستاذ محمود فتحى خالد، مدير الشئون القانونية، وأخرين من محامي الشئون القانونية بنادي الزمالك.

وأبدوا أعتراضهم على مثول رئيس نادي الزمالك لجلسة التحقيق المحددة نظرًا لتمتعه بالحصانة البرلمانية والتي تمنع ذلك وفقًا لحد قولهم، كما رفضوا سؤالهم بصفتهم عن المشكو فى حقه، هذا وقد رفعت جلسة التحقيق لإصدار قرار بشأنها فى وقت لاحق.

وأضاف: “أظهر الفريق أداءً لا يُصدق بالنسبة للوضع الذي نحن فيه، للأسف لم نتمكن من الفوز، إذا كنا نشكو بسبب الغائبين، فلن نتمكن من اللعب بالطريقة التي لعبنا بها اليوم”.

وواصل: “وضع ليدز الكثير من اللاعبين خلف خط وسطنا، بعد ذلك هاجموا بسرعة مذهلة مع لاعبين سريعين، ليس من السهل اللعب ضدهم، لقد أظهروا كم هم جيدون”.

وتابع: “أتيحت لنا الفرص لقتل المباراة، في الشوط الثاني كان الأمر أكثر مساواة، لكننا كنا أفضل قرب نهاية اللقاء”.

Liverpool fans on Twitter have been discussing a potential move for Fulham prodigy Ryan Sessegnon, with the majority keen on a swoop for the youngster.

Since breaking into the Cottagers’ first-team at just 16 years of age, the teenager has netted 25 goals and recorded 17 assists in over 100 appearances for the west Londoners, whilst also showcasing his versatility by playing at both left-back and left-wing.

Jurgen Klopp has gotten quite inventive with his excuses this season. FFC’s James Jones think he has no one but himself to blame for Liverpol’s poor form in the video below…

Sessegnon, in what is his debut season in the Premier League, has found consistent starts hard to come by amid the mess that is Fulham Football Club this season – they have had three managers, and find themselves second bottom in the league.

Despite that, the 18-year-old has scored twice and set up five more. Sessegnon is stalling on a new contract with his current deal set to expire at the end of next season, so Fulham may need to cash in this summer or risk losing him on a free.

Sessegnon is also a self-declared Liverpool fan, stating that Steven Gerrard was his favourite player, and Reds supporters on Twitter have been debating a swoop for the young prospect who would surely jump at the chance to play for his boyhood club…

Portsmouth do not hold an option to buy Omar Bogle this summer, manager Kenny Jackett has confirmed per portsmouth.co.uk.

Bogle joined the club on loan from Cardiff City in January and has already impressed in front of goal.

What’s the word?

Pompey have enjoyed Bogle’s talents thus far, seeing him score four times in just eight outings.

The 25-year-old has not played for Cardiff this season and instead spent the first half of the campaign on loan at Birmingham City.

During his time with the Championship club, he scored once in 15 outings.

He is enjoying a more prolific spell at Fratton Park as Pompey look to secure promotion to the second-tier – they are fourth, four points behind second-placed Barnsley and nine behind leaders Luton Town.

Manager Jackett, though, says the club do not have the option to purchase Bogle, who has a year remaining on his current Cardiff contract, in the summer transfer window.

He said, per portsmouth.co.uk: “He’s got a year left on his contract at Cardiff.

“There have been no discussions with what we do in the summer.  Cardiff will obviously see which division they’re in but he has got a year left at Cardiff and we will see which division they’re in.

“But he has a year left and there have been no discussions yet.”

Promotion required

Portsmouth will likely need to win promotion to convince Bogle to stay.

The 25-year-old may not want to remain in League One for another season, particularly if his parent club are relegated from the Premier League.

As it stands, he is enjoying a purple patch but Pompey are unlikely to be able to afford him if they are again in the third-tier in 2019-20.

Plus, if the Bluebirds go down, they may need to call on Bogle’s talents to take them back up.

Jackett claims he will see which division Cardiff are in before making a decision; it may have to be the other way round this summer.

ولماذا لم تعلن عن إصابتك بفيروس كورونا؟، رد الأوروجوياني: “كل ما يحدث في العالم يؤلم ويثير الكثيرين من عدم اليقين حول المستقبل، لأنه لا أحد يعرف ما هو الحل مع هذا الفيروس”.

وتابع: “لم أكن لأربح أي شيء بإعلاني عن إصابتي بفيروس كورونا في ذلك الوقت، خاصة وأنني كنت ملتزمًا بالبروتوكول الطبي الذي كان علي الامتثال له”.

ولماذا غيرت رأيك من الاعتزال؟، أجاب: “بدأت الدوريات من جديد وأردت أن يكون لدي فريق، لذلك فأن سعيد بالانتقال إلى مانشستر يونايتد وكل ما أريده الآن هو ارتداء هذا القميص”.

Manchester United look set to revive their interest in Harry Maguire with caretaker Ole Gunnar Solskjaer giving the signal to sign him in what could be a whopping £65m deal, according to the Daily Star.

What’s the word?

Since Maguire’s exploits for England at the 2018 World Cup, he’s become one of the most sought after central defenders in the Premier League with Man United appearing to be the club in pole position to land him.

The Red Devils previously made enquiries over the 26-year-old in last summer’s transfer window but were put off by Leicester’s massive valuation of the player.

As it happens, they could now sign the player for £10m less if a deal was to work out.

United’s defensive issues have been no secret for some time now and in Maguire, they see a player capable of solving their problems.

Time for sacrifice

The former Hull man has been a massive hit in the Midlands but if the Foxes are to rebuild and plan for a new era under Brendan Rodgers then they can afford to sacrifice him.

A major argument for this is the fact that they already possess two near ready-made replacements.

At Celtic this season, Rodgers worked with Filip Benkovic, a defender in a similar mould to Maguire who is actually on loan from the Scot’s new side.

Standing at 6 ft 4, he is the same height as the man he could replace and has all the aerial attributes and ball-playing skills to dominate in the Premier League once he returns.

He could form a partnership alongside Caglar Soyuncu who may have struggled this term but is a young player with plenty of potential.

In the Turkish defender and Benkovic, the Foxes have two men more than capable of taking them in the right direction. As a result, it would lead the way for Maguire to depart and see the club embark on a new chapter with Claude Puel now gone too.

As an added bonus, getting £65m for Maguire and having internal replacements already at their disposal, could give them an excuse to try and make Youri Tielemans a permanent part of the King Power furniture. Maguire’s sacrifice, therefore, would be well warranted.

West Ham United could be set to sell Jordan Hugill for a fee of £5million in the summer, per Claret and Hugh.

The striker joined the club in a £10m deal from Preston North End in January 2018 but the Irons are reportedly ready to cut their losses when the transfer window reopens.

What’s the word?

Hugill has played for the Hammers three times and has never featured for more than 10 minutes in a competitive game – an epic transfer flop if there ever was one.

Since moving to the London Stadium, he has been loaned to Middlesbrough, scoring seven goals in 34 games.

And Claret and Hugh claim that manager Tony Pulis does not particularly want to keep Hugill at the Riverside Stadium.

Nevertheless, the report states that, should Boro change their mind, the Premier League club would be willing to accept between £4m and £5m for a permanent switch.

The 26-year-old also struggled for goals at Preston, scoring 30 times in over 110 appearances for the Deepdale club.

A regretful incident

The deal for Hugill was a ridiculous one from the outset.

David Moyes secured the deal during his time at the London Stadium.

Hugill did not and does not appear ready to make a breakthrough in east London and is a prime example of a player who is adept at playing in the second-tier but not in the top-flight.

This summer, the Hammers should focus on promoting a player from the youth team, such as Toni Martinez, instead of taking such a punt.

Their transfer strategy has been scattergun in recent years and West Ham should ensure that they are more focused this time around.

Manuel Pellegrini cannot afford to be saddled with another flop from the beginning of next season.

وأثر تفشي وباء كورونا على الوضع الاقتصادي في العالم وعلى الأندية، واضطر برشلونة لتخفيض رواتب لاعبيه من قبل، بالإضافة للتأثير على سوق الانتقالات.

ولدى نادي برشلونة اتفاقية للحصول قرض، وأشارت تقارير إلى أن ذلك لدفع رواتب اللاعبين، وأوضح مويكس الأمر في تصريحات نشرتها صحيفة “سبورت” الإسبانية.

وقال: “قرض جولدمان ساكس ليس لدفع الرواتب، بالتأكيد لا، لقد عملنا على تمويل استثمارات ولا يمكن استخدامها في أي شيء آخر غير هذا”.

وأوضح القرض تم الاتفاق عليه لكنه لم يوقع بعد، مؤكدًا: “طالما لم يتم ذلك، لا يمكن أن يكون لديك هذا الهيكل المالي، ولهذا من المستحيل أن يتم استخدامه لدفع رواتب اللاعبين، لأنه غير مصمم لذلك، ولا نحتاج إلى تمويل خاص لدفع الرواتب”.

أصر مويكس على أن القرض المذكور قد تم تنظيمه لسداد سلسلة من الاستثمارات في كامب نو وأخرى متعلقة بالنادي، والتي تم بالفعل تقديم جزء منها بقرض بقيمة 90 مليون يورو.

وشدد: “يتم تقديم جميع القروض المتعلقة بالبنية التحتية أو المباني لهذه الوجهة ولا يمكن استخدامها في أي شيء آخر، والدليل الأكثر وضوحًا على شروط هذا القرض هو أننا سنحصل عليه أثناء التصديق على الأعمال المادية”.
