Loads of Sunderland fans have been running the rule over the Easter Monday action, and they’ve got plenty to say about Marcus Maddison.

Sunderland suffered another setback in the race for automatic promotion on Monday, drawing 1-1 at Peterborough while the teams around them picked up three points.

Barnsley and Portsmouth both won to move four and two points clear of the Black Cats respectively, while Posh held Jack Ross’ side to a hard-fought draw.

Max Power looked to have won all three points when he broke the deadlock in the 87th minute, but Matt Godden equalised 60 seconds into stoppage time.

And Maddison, who has been the subject of Sunderland fans’ interest before, has riled the Wearside faithful with his post-match tweet.

The reason he was booed was due to his constant clashing with Bryan Oviedo, who was booked early on while Maddison eventually picked up a card of his own for a blatant dive.

Manchester United fans have taken to Twitter to reveal that they want Dean Henderson to spend next season out on loan again, after achieving promotion to the Premier League with Sheffield United this term.

The 22-year-old stopper has kept a league-high 20 clean sheets in the Championship for the Blades this campaign, conceding just 39 goals in 44 games; he has arguably been the best keeper outside of the top-flight.

A World Cup winner with the England Under-20 side, Henderson is highly rated by United fans, with some even calling for him to be given a chance in goal ahead of David de Gea, who has performed woefully in recent weeks.

However, those with a more sensible head on their shoulders have now called for Henderson to be loaned out again, with Chris Wilder’s side interested in taking the glovesman back on a temporary deal.

كشفت صحيفة “ذا صن” البريطانية حقيقة تواصل مانشستر يونايتد مع المدير الفني السابق لنادي توتنهام، ماوريسيو بوتشيتينو، في الأيام الماضية لقيادة الفريق الإنجليزي.

وخرجت بعض الأنباء عبر صحيفة “Manchester Evening News” في الأيام الماضية أن هناك تواصلا قد تم بين إدارة مانشستر يونايتد والمدرب الأرجنتيني لخلاف، أولي جونار سولشاير.

هذا يأتي بعد خسارة مانشستر يونايتد في الأسبوع الماضي مباراتين الأولى أمام آرسنال في الدوري الإنجليزي الممتاز والثانية أمام باشاك شهير في دوري أبطال أوروبا.

وأفاد التقرير أن بوتشيتينو من الممكن أن يصبح مدرب الشياطين الحمر خلال فترة التوقف الدولي المقبلة في حالة خسارة الفريق اليوم أمام إيفرتون ببطولة الدوري الإنجليزي بالمباراة التي تنطلق في تمام الساعة الثانية والنصف ظهرًا بتوقيت “القاهرة”.

ولكن صحيفة “ذا صن” تؤكد من جانبها أن مسئولي مانشستر يونايتد لم يدخلوا في مفاوضات مع بوتشيتينو وهو ما قد يسمح لأندية مثل مانشستر سيتي وباريس سان جيرمان بتنفس الصعداء.

يذكر أن مانشستر سيتي يفكر هو الآخر في الأرجنتيني لخلافة، بيب جوارديولا، في حالة الفشل في الموسم الحالي، ولا يختلف الأمر في باريس سان جيرمان مع مدربه، توماس توخيل.

كشف نادر شوقي وكيل اللاعبين، عن تفاصيل فشل استمرار رمضان صبحي لاعب بيراميدز مع الأهلي والمفاوضات من جانب الأخير مع هدرسفيلد الإنجليزي.

وكان رمضان صبحي قد أتم انتقاله لصفوف نادي بيراميدز خلال سبتمبر الماضي رافضًا الاستمرار مع النادي الأهلي.

وقال نادر شوقي في تصريحات تلفزيونية عبر قناة “أون تايم سبورتس”: “من حق رمضان أن يقول ما يريد بأي طريقة، هو حر”.

وأكمل: “ولكن ما قاله عني يمس سمعتي مع اللاعبين الذين أتعامل معهم، هو قال إنني لم أقف في ظهره وأنني لم أتي بعروض له وكنت أوجهه للأهلي، كل هذا غير صحيح، رمضان أراد تبرير موقفه على حسابي”.

وتابع: “أنا حزنت لأنه قال إني لم أقف في ظهره، كلنا كنا في مركب واحدة أنا ورمضان والأهلي والأخير بدأ مفاوضات بشأن ضم رمضان من شهر أبريل الماضي”.

وأكمل: “الجلسة الأولى لمناقشة الأمر كانت في منزل محمود الخطيب بحضوري وحضور أمير توفيق في شهر مارس، واتفقت مع ورمضان أن الأولوية هي الاحتراف”.

واستطرد: “إذا كان الموسم انتهى بشكل طبيعي سيكون في شهر يونيو، لكن الأمور حدث فيها ارتباك بسبب كورونا، وهدرسيفلد رد على طلب الأهلي بشأن مد إعارة رمضان لنهاية الموسم ولم يمانع”.

وأضاف: “الأهلي كان يرغب في ضم رمضان صبحي، والأحمر طلب مد الإعارة لنهاية الموسم والنادي الإنجليزي لم يمانع واستفسر عن موعد نهاية المسابقة”.

وأوضح: “الأهلي كان موافقًا على شراء رمضان وكان سيسمح له بالرحيل إلى الاحتراف في حال وجود عرض، الأمور كانت بها مرونة كبيرة، والنادي أراد استمرار اللاعب حتى نهاية بطولة إفريقيا ثم شراؤه نهائيًا واللاعب كان سعيدًا بذلك”.

وأشار: “أول الكلام الذي خرج من الأهلي في شهر أبريل هو طلب شراء رمضان صبحي، والنادي الإنجليزي طلب وقتها 7 ملايين جنيه استرليني وتم تخفيض المبلغ إلى 3 ملايين و250 ألف إسترليني”.

واختتم: “الزمالك في نفس الوقت عرض مبلغًا أعلى، وبعد ذلك أخبرني مسؤول في النادي الإنجليزي بوجود نادي آخر في مصر يرغب في ضم اللاعب وأنا علمت بالتأكيد أنه بيراميدز، وتحدثت بثقة وقلت له رمضان لن ينتقل إلى بيراميدز أو الزمالك”.

After starting the 2018/19 campaign in positive fashion, the Smoggies have lost their way somewhat since the turn of the year which has resulted in them slipping out of the top-six in the Championship.

Despite suffering a dreadful run of six consecutive defeats between March and April, a recent upturn in form has given Tony Pulis’ side a sniff of a chance of securing a play-off place on Sunday. If Boro can overcome the challenge of Rotherham United on Sunday, they could leapfrog Derby County if the Rams slip up against West Bromwich Albion.

Regardless of what happens at the weekend, it is clear that Pulis needs to make some key alterations to his squad heading into next season yet in order to get the necessary funds, he may have to cut ties with Marcus Tavernier.

Despite being one of Boro’s most prodiguous young talents, the 20-year-old has only featured on 28 occasions in all competitions in which he has scored just five goals (via Transfermarkt).

Although he clearly has the potential to become a top player, it may be beneficial for both parties if he continues his development elsewhere as he has been far too inconsistent this season.

According to the Sun, Tavernier is on AFC Bournemouth’s radar with Eddie Howe reportedly weighing up a summer swoop for the winger.  If this is indeed true, Pulis should consider cashing in on Tavernier as it would make more sense than keeping him at the Riverside Stadium where he has been limited to substitute appearances in recent weeks.

يرى المدير الفني للفريق الأول لكرة القدم بنادي برشلونة، رونالد كومان، أن فريقه يحتاج إلى بعض الصفقات خلال الميركاتو الشتوي المقبل في يناير 2021.

وارتبط اسم برشلونة في عهد كومان بعدة أسماء منها ممفيس ديباي (ليون)، جورجينيو فينالدوم (ليفربول) وإريك جارسيا (مانشستر سيتي).

وخلال حوار أجراه كومان مع صحيفة “موندو ديبورتيفو” الكتالونية تحدث الهولندي عن صفقة ديباي، وقال: “أولًا هذا ليس الوقت المناسب للحديث عن لاعبين غير موجودين في برشلونة، فهذا أمر غير جيد بالنسبة لي”.

وتابع: “صحيح أن اسم ديباي قد ظهر في الفترة الماضية، لكنه ليس موجودًا مع الفريق”.

هل تعتبر ممفيس مهاجمًا على عكس آراء الكثيرين؟ أجاب: “لقد لعب جميع مباريات منتخب هولندا معي في مركز 9، يمكن للجميع إبداء رأيهم حول مركزه لكن علينا أن ننتظر وما سيحدث في المستقبل”.

وعن جارسيا، قال: “لا أعلم، يعتمد الأمر على مانشستر سيتي”.

وفينالدوم: “لاعب رائع بالطبع وقد يكون هدفنا في المستقبل لكنني لا أستطيع أن أقول أكثر من ذلك”.

وبسؤاله عن أداء اللاعبين الكبار في الفريق مثل أومتيتي، قال: “قبل كل شيء، إنهم يبذلون قصارى جهدهم مع الفريق من أجل تغيير الصورة التي أنهوا بها الموسم الماضي”.

وبسؤاله من الأفضل أنت أم ميسي في تنفيذ الركلات الحرة؟ رد: “كنت أجيدها خلال فترتي كلاعب، لا أعرف من هو الأفضل لكن اعتقد الذي سجل أهدافًا أكثر وهو ليو ولذلك فهو استمر لسنوات عديدة في برشلونة”.

وانتقل كومان للحديث عن التحكيم وتقنية الـVAR، وقال: “خلال مسيرتي كلاعب في برشلونة كانت هناك بعض المشاكل التحكيمية، والآن هناك تقنية الفيديو التي تساعد الحكام في أداء مهامهم”.

وأتم تصريحاته: “أنا من الأشخاص الذين يؤيدون هذه التقنية في المباريات خاصة في الحالات التي لا يوجد بها أي نقاش مثل التسلل، لكني لا أؤيد استخدامها في احتكاك ما على أرض الملعب”.

Major loss on the horizon: Aston Villa plan to sign Rangers skipper James Tavernier

As per Football Insider, the Midlands are readying a summer bid for Rangers skipper James Tavernier.

The English Championship side, who are set to compete for the final Premier League spot in the play-offs, are said to be in the market for a new right-back as Ahmed Elmohamady and Alan Hutton are both in their 30s. Not only that, they just aren’t good enough to compete at the top level of English football.

A source close to the Villans has revealed to Football Insider that the club are closely monitoring Tavernier, who is widely considered one of the best in his respective right-back position in the SPL.

The 27-year-old has been fundamental to the Rangers squad ever since joining from Wigan Athletic in 2015 and manager Steven Gerrard has openly praised how good he is, and he must be worried now that the pulling power of the English game could be enough to convince Tavernier to leave in the coming window.

It doesn’t get much better than the Englishman’s record this year, notching a total of 16 goals and 20 assists from 55 matches in all competitions. There are strikers and midfielders with worse records than that, so it genuinely comes as no surprise as to why he is held in such high esteem and why losing him would be a major problem to contend with.

It really is beginning to look like bad news for Rangers, with Aston Villa apparently set to go all out for Tavernier in the summer as a matter of necessity to address their own problems at the back. Of course, they could quite easily buy another right-back, but how many have the same output as their current captain? Very few, we would wager.

Serious job on Gerrard’s hands.

Gerrard’s stroke of genius

Steven Gerrard has been busy in his first season at Ibrox. A multitude of new signings have arrived at the club, some good and some hopelessly bad.

At the highest point of the positive end of the spectrum we find Kamara, a player who was signed for just £50k in the January window.

In the modern game it is seldom possible to sign players of genuine quality for anything less than a premium price, but Kamara have proven that there are still rare bargains to be found.

The box-to-box midfielder, who has been compared to Patrick Vieira, has been one of the signings of the SPFL season and the early prognosis suggests he can blossom into a long-term lynchpin for the club.

Kamara provides the blueprint

Rangers can learn plenty from the genius behind the deal and they should use Kamara’s example as a blueprint for their summer transfer policy.

The Gers’ chequered financial history underlines the requirement to remain sensible in the transfer market and remain within the remits of a strict budget.

Players bursting with potential, such as Kamara, who are available at bargain prices, should be the priority for Gerrard in the summer, while the success of Scott Arfield suggests those targets should be supplemented with experienced free agents.

It will be incredibly difficult for Rangers to find players of Kamara’s calibre for equally modest figures, but that is what they should be striving to do in the market in order to usurp Celtic at the top of the SPFL.

Low cost players bursting with promise and a decent level of experience in either Scottish or English football should be the priority this summer.

The more Kamaras the better.

وأضاف: “لا تخافوا على نادي رئيسه مرتضى منصور، أقول لأولادي لاعبي الفريق الكروي سينصركم الله في النهاية وما حدث معي تكرر كثيرا ولو كنت جبلًا كان سيسقط”.

وتابع: “حدثت أمور غريبة في انتخابات مجلس الشعب، وتعرضت لوعكة صحية شديدة، لم أسقط لكني راضي عن الأمر وإذا كنت خضت معركة لتحمل مسئولية بلد ميت غمر في أنا مسئول أيضا عن نادي كبير اسمه الزمالك، يشجعه ٥٠ مليون في الوطن العربي، تعرضت لحرب من عزل من اللجنة الأولمبية وطعن على لائحة وغلق قناة النادي”.

وواصل: “منعوا صوتي من الحديث في قناة الزمالك الرسمية للمباركة لفريق الكرة بعد الفوز على الرجاء، ولكن لكل حدث حديث ولن أخطئ في حق بلدي لأنني مصري ورجل وطني تعرضت لظلم وافتراء شديد ولكن الأسود لا تسقط”.

وأكمل: “أنا مواطن مصري لا أملك سوى أنني شريف وأحب بلده”.

وأتم: “أنا رجل قوي كل الظلم والافتراء الذي تعرضت له لن أتحدث عنه الآن، فريقنا سيوفقه الله، وسنرفع كأس إفريقيا باذن الله.. لإسعاد الجماهير”.
