وحسب إذاعة “كادينا كوبيه” الإسبانية، فإن ريال مدريد تلقى موافقة رابطة الدوري الإسباني بشأن مشاركة كورتوا وفالفيردي وكامافينجا يوم الأحد.

وأشارت إلى أنه بالرغم من ذلك، فإن كامافينجا لن يستطيع المشاركة في مباراة الأحد ضد خيتافي بسبب تراكم البطاقات الصفراء.

Upon securing a deal for Under, it was reported that the Foxes held an option to make the deal permanent should he impress sufficiently.

Since then, he has scored twice and provided three assists in 19 appearances in all competitions – form that is not exactly sparkling.

Amidst reports that the Foxes are facing less competition for the signature of Florian Thauvin, Under’s selection, or indeed lack thereof against Burnley on Wednesday, could provide clues as to the Foxes’ transfer business in the summer.

Should he start on the bench as he has done in each of the previous eight Premier League games, it would suggest that Brendan Rodgers is not fully convinced and that he may have already decided to send Under back to his parent club come the conclusion of the season.

Without the purchase of Under, Leicester may reignite their interest in Marseille star Thauvin or FC Porto midfielder Otavio – or indeed, they could even target someone completely different.

With both Thauvin and Otavio available on free transfers come July, signing either of them could then have a positive impact on the available funds that the Foxes would have for the upcoming transfer window.

This, in turn, would have a direct consequence on their ability to spend on other positions in their squad, which again could prove key as they potentially embark on another European campaign.

It goes to show then that whilst an appearance or performance at Turf Moor may not seem all too important on the face of things, it is quite the opposite for Cengiz Under and Leicester on Wednesday.

Os jogadores e o técnico Muricy Ramalho já falam abertamente sobre o assunto, admitindo cansaço e problemas causados pelo calendário desgastante, em meio a viagens e três competições simultâneas. Nesta quarta-feira, o Rubro-Negro encara o Atlético-PR, pela semifinal da Primeira Liga noEstádio Municipal Radialista Mário Helênio, em Juiz de Fora (MG), o décimo segundo estádio visitado pelo clube da Gávea no ano.

Nesta temporada, o Flamengo já jogou no Castelão (CE), Arruda (PE), Raulino de Oliveira (RJ), Moacyrzão (RJ),Mané Garrincha (DF), São Januário (RJ), Giulite Coutinho (RJ), Kléber Andrade (ES), Mineirão (MG), Batistão (SE) e Pacaembu (SP). Ou seja, foram viagens para sete estados, além do Interior do Rio. Vale destacar que o Rubro-Negro não tinha o mando em todos estes jogos. O clube, porém, já optou por atuar em São Paulo, Brasília, Espírito Santo e agora Espírito Santo, além de fazer dois amistosos no Nordeste.

Liverpool could be set to bolster their attacking options with the signing of PSV hitman Donyell Malen.

According to Calciomercato, the Reds are interested in the prospect of swooping for the Dutchman at some point in the near future in what would be an excellent transfer.

A product of the Arsenal youth set-up, Malen has thrived in his time back in his home country.

He has made 108 appearances in all competitions for the club since his arrival in 2017, netting 50 goals and providing a further 22 assists.

The 22-year-old is also in the midst of his most lethal season thus far, having struck 14 times in the Eredivisie.

His quality has also come to the fore on the European stage, too, hitting five goals in just eight UEFA Europa League appearances in 2020/21.

Should he presumably play second-fiddle to current first-choice Anfield forward Roberto Firmino, he will certainly be a better prospect than Divock Origi.

Throughout this season, Malen has averaged 3.4 shots per game, 0.8 key passes, and 1.3 dribbles per match according to WhoScored. The fact that he is confident enough to consistently try his luck and take players on only bodes well for a Liverpool side usually famed for its attacking style of football.

When compared to Malen, Origi’s number almost pale into insignificance. Albeit in limited opportunities this season under Jurgen Klopp, the Belgian is averaging just 0.7 shots, 0.3 key passes and 0.1 dribbles per game.

Last week, Neil Jones of Goal reported that Origi is for sale this summer and if he does leave, then Malan could be the ideal replacement.

The stats indicate that the Dutchman would certainly improve Liverpool’s squad and rated at just £22.5m, it is certainly an affordable and attractive deal.

After all, having signed the likes of Luis Suarez and cult hero Dirk Kuyt from Ajax and Feyenoord respectively, Malen could well become another Eredivisie success story on Merseyside.

Marcel Brands should seal a summer swoop for Everton to sign VfB Stuttgart striker Sasa Kalajdzic and hand Carlo Ancelotti a second Dominic Calvert-Lewin type player.

What’s the word?

According to Tutto Juve, Serie A powerhouse Juventus are exploring a deal to sign Stuttgart striker Kalajdzic at the end of the season, but face vivid European competition.

The 23-year-old forward is thought to be on the radars of Everton, Newcastle United and RB Leipzig, after his Bundesliga side slapped an ‘affordable’ €20m (£17m) asking price on him.

Kalajdzic is noted by the Italian publication to be seen as the next Erling Haaland after scoring 13 goals in 24 German top-flight games this season, and he could well make a similar leap as the Borussia Dortmund sensation he is compared to.

Haaland trails only Bayern Munich’s 32-goal monster Robert Lewandowski in the Bundesliga Golden Boot race with 19 in 20 games, while Kalajdzic ranks sixth having contributed 28% of Stuttgart’s 47 efforts to date.

Reports by the Daily Mail also presented West Ham United as a potential destination for the £7,500-per-week attacker earlier this month, as David Moyes draws up a shortlist of options to target at the London Stadium.

Those claims also mentioned RB Leipzig’s interest but added that of Serie A side AS Roma, which have been supported by German publication Kicker, who note that Stuttgart’s Sporting Director Sven Mislintat has confirmed that player sales are likely this summer.

But the Mercedes-Benz Arena natives’ asking price has been questioned with the Daily Mail citing a valuation of around £15m, while Kicker claim a fee of between €20-25m (£17-21.5m) will be needed to strike a deal.

Should Everton sign Kalajdzic?

Everton appear to be drawing up their own shortlist of attacking weapons that Ancelotti and Brands can target at the end of the season, as the Goodison Park natives have recently been linked with FC Barcelona’s Martin Braithwaite too.

The Toffees may be putting precautions in place with speculation surrounding the long-term futures of Joshua King and Moise Kean on Merseyside, while Cenk Tosun will only have a year remaining on his £60,000-per-week contract come June.

Tosun is unlikely to be offered new terms given his struggles in the Premier League with 11 goals in 58 games since a £27m move from Besiktas in 2018, while King is yet to find the back of the net since his Deadline Day arrival last month.

Brands instead moving to sign Kalajdzic could see the Everton chief land Ancelotti a second Calvert-Lewin type, one who is able to match the Toffees’ top-scorer on the pitch, rather than force the Blues to play to a different tune.

Ancelotti often relies on Calvert-Lewin to offer a focal point in attack that Everton can target and play off, with the 24-year-old contesting 8.8 aerial duels a game in the Premier League – close to double the next-most of Lucas Digne (4.7) and Yerry Mina (4.6), per WhoScored.

Kalajdzic, who has been dubbed an “Ibrahimovic-machine” in comparison to Zlatan Ibrahimovic for his 6 ft 5 stature, can match that presence, having contested 5.2 aerial duels per game in the Bundesliga this term, along with taking 2.1 shots to Calvert-Lewin’s 2.5.

While the fee needed may still be unknown at this point, Brands should surely be working on a deal for Kalajdzic to join Everton.

Apesar da derrota por 1 a 0 para o Fluminense neste domingo, o técnico do América-MG, Enderson Moreira afirmou que há coisas boas a serem extraídas do jogo. Entre elas, a postura na defesa.

-Acho que as duas equipes conseguiram criar poucas situações. Acabamos sofrendo um gol de um erro nosso, em que tínhamos uma falta a nosso favor e sofremos um contra-ataque. Mas fizemos um jogo da maneira que a gente podia fazer. No primeiro tempo, tivemos situações de contra-ataque que, se a gente tivesse caprichado um pouco mais, talvez a gente saísse na frente- comentou.

De acordo com Moreira, o que comprometeu o América-MG foi não ter conseguido encaixar um contra-ataque fatal.

-É natural que o Fluminense tivesse um pouco mais de controle do jogo, mas também sem muito assédio, sem muitas oportunidades. Acho que nós tivemos boas oportunidades de contra-ataque, mas não conseguimos nem finalizar. Não conseguimos dar o último passe, não conseguiu sair rápido e criar uma situação de superioridade numérica. Eu acho que principalmente nessa questão deixamos escapar o resultado- comentou o treinador do Coelho.
